In this role, you’ll be delivering mail and packages efficiently, while operating and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. You'll handle customer interactions, scan documents, and ensure timely delivery, with occasional forklift operation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Company vehicles and complex office and mailing equipment.
- Ensure that mail, equipment, data, packages, and supplies are sorted/scanned and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer phones, respond to customer requests and conduct mail and package transactions.
- Proper use of equipment and adhere to safety and accident prevention rules.
- Learn job fundamentals such as names of delivery locations, postal and shipping rules and regulations.
- Operate light material moving equipment and two axle vehicles.
- Understand and follow written and oral directions.
- Perform heavy physical work.
- Operate postal machinery.
- Load and unload boxes, documents, packages, and supplies.
- Scan materials for prohibited items.
- Other duties as assigned.
- On occasion it may be required to operate forklift.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in mail sorting and/or freight handling.
- A valid Class "C" Driver License.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on even or uneven surfaces.
- Ability to lift up 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of standard abbreviations used in shipping and in designated weights and measures.
- Experience with postal and packing regulations.
- Ability to operate a two-axle vehicle.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.

- This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Testing
- This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Reference our Information Guides for the following tests: EEI BCAB Test (Test #5206). Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
