Become an Executive Assistant at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help shape the future of clean energy. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide high-level executive support to the Vice President of Design & Field Asset Services (DFAS) and the DFAS Design Directors. You’ll manage complex calendars, drive coordination across multiple priorities, and serve as a trusted partner in keeping the organization running smoothly. Your contributions will be essential to powering progress across one of the company’s most dynamic organizations.
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, presentations and other documents.
- Organizes and maintains databases, libraries, and knowledge repositories, implementing systems to enhance accessibility and efficiency in accessing research materials and reports
- Takes ownership of planning and executing meetings, ensuring seamless logistics, agenda preparation, taking notes, action item tracking and monitoring, and coordination of attendees’ schedules
- Utilizing business software and Artificial Intelligence to draft correspondence, create reports and presentations, and ensure timely follow-up on action items. As directed, prioritize and route correspondence effectively
- Oversees the preparation of expenditure approvals and purchase orders for general office procurement needs, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and financial regulations. Ensures preparation and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing executive mail and confidential documents
- Provides well-researched data and analysis including but not limited to project planning, resource allocation, and special initiatives
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on special projects requiring in-depth research and analysis, providing valuable insights to drive project success
- Handles sensitive and proprietary information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four or more years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Notes, Word, Excel and CoPilot.
- Experience managing executive level calendars, including coordinating, scheduling, and planning meetings, appointments, video conferencing, and using SharePoint Libraries.
- Experience organizing a heavy workload, being proactive, creative, working well under pressure, and performing tasks/assignments with minimal supervision and a high attention to detail and quality of work.
- Experience working effectively and accurately on diverse and concurrent assignments in an environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and tight operating deadlines.
- Experience processing timekeeping, expense reports, credit card reconciliations, office invoices, and other related documents/activities.
- One or more years of experience serving as an Executive Assistant, Secretary, or Administrative Assistant roles, directly supporting two or more members of executive leadership team members (Principal Manager, Director, or VP levels and above).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to convey a positive and professional image.
- Collaborative teamwork and leadership abilities.
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in a shared executive workspace.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is Pomona, Innovation Village 3. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work location.
- Position will require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
- This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
