Become a Digital Labor Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you’ll serve as a key delivery leader within our Data, Analytics, & Automation organization, responsible for orchestrating day‑to‑day work execution for development teams supporting critical automation and digital solutions.

 

This position focuses on work prioritization, delivery tracking, and cross‑functional coordination for Digital Labor development efforts. You will partner closely with developers, process owners, vendors, and leadership to ensure work is clearly defined, properly sequenced, and delivered on schedule. Your ability to balance competing priorities, maintain transparency on delivery status, and proactively identify risks will directly support SCE’s operational reliability and digital transformation initiatives.

 

Incident Management Team Expected Participation: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Improves the delivery of analytical support to an Operating Unit and/or the enterprise, enhancing the collection, analysis and reporting of data, which enables successful completion of key business operations projects.
  • Provides advice to stakeholders, presenting analytical findings and making recommendations as to their impact on business operations.
  • Identifies and improves operational processes and procedures, from maintenance to development of reporting dashboards, to streamline business practice and improve efficiency.
  • Collects and analyzes data in order to present findings and make recommendations.
  • Develops models to help inform decision-making on emerging technology investments.
  • Improves the development of business plan scenarios to evaluate different priorities and potential options to achieving the operating unit and/or enterprise objectives.
  • Verifies that established processes are aligned with relevant rules, principles, laws, and industry standards with the goal to safeguard assets, minimize errors, and ensure operational activities are performed to mitigate risk.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience in business operations analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience supporting or leading technical delivery, work management, or development operations.
  • Experience working within a structured Software Development Life Cycle environment.
  • Experience using ALM Octane or similar application lifecycle management tools for work intake, tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting UiPath automation development, including documentation and lifecycle coordination.
  • Experience working within formal Change Management processes.
  • Experience with vendor and contract resource management, including onboarding, work tracking, and deliverable oversight.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced, delivery‑oriented environments.
  • Experience organizing and supporting cross‑functional teams across development, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating work across technical teams and translating execution status into leadership‑level reporting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
