How has SCE helped supported you through your career?
SCE has supported me through my career through putting people first. I’ve had great coaches, mentors, and sponsors in my career to guide me and help with my development. I’ve had leaders who were understanding, supportive, and encouraging of me pursuing higher education. I’ve also had leaders who were very supportive during times of personal crisis such as a death in the family, allowing me to focus on family for a moment without feeling guilty about not focusing on work. In all, SCE has been great at being supportive of me as a person, both in life and career.
What do you like most about your team at SCE?
The team I work with at SCE is passionate about the work and motivated to do what is needed to make a difference in peoples’ lives. They are a diverse team from the perspectives of ethnicity, gender, age, educational background, and professional background, so they bring multiple different perspectives and ideas that shape the direction in which we move forward – ultimately creating better results for the company.
