Rye Spady is a senior manager in the Transmission & Distribution Business Line Planning (T&D BLP) organization at Southern California Edison (SCE). BLP serves as a bridge between Finance and T&D, providing Business Line subject-matter expertise, facilitation of decision-making for T&D, and goal-to-financial alignment. BLP also supports the development of risk-informed and prioritized organization plans to ensure T&D focuses on the highest value work for SCE customers. In 2019, Rye was acknowledged Public Utilities Fortnightly as a Rising Star Under Forty and was recognized as an SCE Edison Award winner. The Edison Award is the most prestigious award given to SCE employees. The program takes place every two years and celebrates outstanding performance — those who go “above and beyond the call of duty” while living Edison International’s values and guiding behaviors.

Rye began her career at SCE in 2007 as a financial analyst in the IT Finance organization, providing reporting and forecasting for major IT projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, both in Economics from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. She also holds a certification in project management. She loves being active, learning new things, and relaxing with her dogs
