Become an Information Technology SAP Senior Project Manager – Supply Chain at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. We are seeking a skilled Delivery Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead our NextGen ERP project, focusing on the Supply Chain and Procurement domains of our SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role involves coordinating project managers, vendors, and partners to ensure successful execution of warehouse management, catalog management, and integrations with finance and material management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP-enabled solutions in the Supply Chain and Procurement domain, including SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, and integration with Asset and Work Management processes. This includes the following applications: SAP S/4 HANA, MDG, satellite SAP applications such as BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, SAP certified applications such as iCertis, Inventory Laydown Manager and any remediations to non-SAP applications already part of the Enterprise Landscape.
- Oversee project execution across multiple agile teams, ensuring milestone achievement, quality deliverables, and business alignment. Including day-to-day project management of execution across multiple Supply Chain and procurement process teams, System Integrator, internal and external partners ensuring progress, milestone achievement, and quality deliverables. Anticipate, raise and/or work to mitigate risks and issues impacting scope, schedule, and resources.
- Provide inputs to sprint planning via Product Oriented Delivery (POD) based hybrid Agile methodology and participate in sprints across concurrent workstreams to obtain insight into progress and report on deviations and/or roadblocks to successful completion.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, implementation partners, product owners, and internal technology teams to align goals, scope, and priorities.
- Manage integrated delivery plans, and program-level risks and issues.
- Serve as the escalation point for delivery roadblocks, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to timelines.
- Prepare executive-level status reports and presentations for steering committees and governance forums.
Responsibilities
- Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes
- Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization
- Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results
- Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues
- Directs complex Agile release train planning, synchronization, and delivery across products and portfolios
- Oversees data and platform migrations between legacy and next-gen systems with minimal business disruption
- Facilitates the design and integration of robust continuous improvement/development (CI/CD) pipelines for enterprise-scale test automation and rapid release cycles
- Leads large-scale Agile teams through full software development lifecycles from inception to deprecation
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in IT project management.
- Experience managing activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
- Experience with IT Program Management or large enterprise projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utility, energy, or asset-intensive industries.
- Participation in Bluefield or Greenfield SAP implementations.
- Familiarity with field mobility solutions, contract lifecycle management tools, or work management integration.
- Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and driving business value through technology transformation.
- Demonstrated experience managing program plans using a hybrid Agile methodology, vendor deliverables, and project governance across multiple stakeholders
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
