As a Capital Portfolio Development Project Manager within Portfolio Management, you will help develop the vision for Portfolio Management through the development of key strategies and processes intended to increase the visibility of future work and enable more robust portfolio management Optimization.

Responsibilities
- Acts as the project conduit for communication status and additional service requests, escalating issues and managing risks
- Defines and maintains standards for project management within the organization
- Reviews and closely monitors project schedules and costs
- Verifies the scope of work, budgeted quantities, total deliverables, the format of delivery, time schedules, plant layout, stress analysis, isometrics, and bill of materials
- Interfaces with Project Controls functional department for reporting oversight and consistent application of procedures
- Provides timely and accurate analysis and reporting to key stakeholders
- May facilitate risk management processes, documents and coordinates risks associated with projects
- Ensures established principles and processes are followed by project teams, including routing projects to the appropriate change control and governance decision-making functions
- Recommends corrective action to Project Managers and wider project team, from analysis by the controls teams
- Monitors the preparation of project control documents by following company standard procedures
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or other technical discipline
- Three or more years of experience with Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution systems, Electric System Planning, or Power Generation
- Three or more years of experience with organizational change management resulting from business process implementation.
- Three or more years of working in resource capacity analysis/planning or finance
- Ability to influence, collaborate and demonstrate strong facilitative leadership skills.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
