The pay range and the specific pay for the successful candidate are determined in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Southern California Edison Company and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47.

Become a Supply Chain and Procurement Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this role, you will be a key resource for the NextGen Program Operations Integration team. You will support Managers and Senior Advisors with deliverable completion, tracking and reporting progress of key deliverables, maintaining project documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy and coordinating within and across NextGen teams to complete key activities in support of quality implementation of new SAP ERP tools and processes.  You will act as the liaison with our business stakeholders to ensure they understand the impacts to their business and gain knowledge and experience by supporting training, communications, and other engagement activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Focus Areas

  • Educate business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) on the “to-be” technology, tools and processes that NextGen ERP will be implementing.
  • Facilitate business integration activities and tasks with business stakeholders in procurement, law and supply chain teams (e.g. set up systems, data, review training material for accuracy, facilitate user acceptance testing, training, and other communications
  • Support Product Owners with implementation readiness.
  • Lead business through changes by providing insights and recommendations to help them adopt standard, SAP first best practice solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides reporting on key metrics related to major programs and initiatives
  • Develops, produces, and tracks key metrics through automated processes and KPI dashboards
  • Monitors the creation and storage of documentation and records for use in project monitoring, ensuring accuracy and completeness in order to track project/program costs, resources, schedules, and status for management review
  • Delivers data analysis and business intelligence reports, including complex requests with high internal and external visibility or special requests, such as audits
  • Coordinates research efforts on various topics to ensure timely information is gathered which can form the basis for decision making on organization priorities and needs
  • Contributes to process improvement and refinement efforts of department and/or Operating Unit
  • Develop and maintains systems/tools to facilitate work processes, records management, and communications in support of Business Operations analysis
  • Develops and reports on key performance indicators to measure efficiency and effectiveness of projects and programs
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience performing business operations analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on a large software development project.
  • Three years of experience working directly in a Supply Chain Management and / or Procurement business role.
  • Experience documenting business processes, analyzing and normalizing data, developing and executing testing scenarios and / or developing or delivering training materials and customer communications.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft products such as MS Project, Excel, Viso, PowerPoint, Word, SmartSheets, and Co-Pilot.

 

 Additional Information

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
