Responsibilities

  • Participates in the design, development and maintenance of our business intelligence infrastructure, enhancing our analytics ecosystem to support key decision-making processes
  • Partners with different business units to understand their data needs, driving the implementation of data solutions that meet strategic objectives
  • Designs advanced predictive models using statistical and data mining methods to create scalable solutions for real business problems
  • Identifies and prototypes industry best practices for emerging analytical tools
  • Conducts detailed data analysis on complex data used across businesses to evaluate performance and to synthesize findings into key insights for partner team’s decision making
  • Builds and executes tools to monitor and report on data quality
  • Drives the delivery of complex analytics projects in terms of the design, development, project management and deployment with related functions
  • Delivers the assessment of new solutions, features and processes to inform whether to double down, pivot, or eliminate the feature or process
  • Builds well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
  • Maintains and sustains positives relationship with other data and analytics-focused teams to leverage ongoing initiatives and capabilities, or hand-over data models developed during programs
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, SAS or similar.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, and normalizing data
  • 5+ years of experience in database design and administration
  • Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources
  • Experience with programming languages in Python, HTML, SQL and/or JSON
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Access, and/or Excel
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

 

 

Additional Information

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
