You will partner closely with senior leaders across SP&E, Finance, and Transmission & Distribution to align strategic objectives with measurable outcomes, identify performance gaps, quantify benefits, and initiate initiatives that materially improve grid outcomes for customers and communities. You will set and govern enterprise performance measures, lead roadmap development, and drive leadership‑level performance reviews that inform decision‑making and investment prioritization. Responsibilities

  • Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with the organization’s strategic goals; establishes benchmarks and targets to measure and evaluate performance across different areas such as financial, operational, and customer satisfaction and employee productivity.
  • Leads the gathering and reporting of company performance metrics, including financial, operational, and customer metrics (KPIs); provides insights on the impact of changes on performance metrics and help stakeholders adapt to new processes.
  • Oversees the creation of performance reports and dashboards that clearly and concisely present key metrics and trend; shares these reports with stakeholders to provide a comprehensive view of the organization’s performance and track progress towards strategic goals.
  • Works with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives and projects; ensures that performance measures are aligned with the organization's strategy.
  • Integrates performance management systems, such as balanced scorecards or OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Identifies areas for performance improvement based on data analysis and insights.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, initiatives, and process improvements that drive efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
  • Assesses and monitors risks that may impact business performance. Identifies potential risks, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes monitoring mechanisms to ensure that risks are effectively managed.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, department heads, and operational teams. Facilitates discussions, workshops, and presentations to communicate performance results, share insights, and gain buy-in for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluates and refines performance management processes and methodologies.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Public Policy, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA/Master’s) is a plus.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: strategy consulting, corporate strategy, enterprise performance management, strategic planning, transformation/operational excellence, or program/portfolio performance.
  • Experience translating strategy into measurable outcomes (KPIs/targets/scorecards), initiatives, and roadmaps; familiarity with OKRs, balanced scorecards, or similar frameworks
  • Experience influencing leaders and stakeholders across multiple organizations (e.g., Planning/Engineering, Finance, Operations, or T&D), including facilitation of working sessions or reviewing performance.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including building concise narratives and presenting insights to senior leadership; experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and comfort working with performance data to identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Experience building performance reports, or data storytelling using common business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or similar). 
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement approaches (Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable structured problem-solving methods) 
  • Experience in the utility, energy, infrastructure, or regulated-industry

 

Additional Information 

 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs
