In this job, you’ll coordinate SCE or contractor construction, maintenance, and material expediting, supporting operations by monitoring tasks, costs, and maintaining records. Responsibilities include managing budgets, reconciling invoices, and ensuring compliance. Additionally, the position establishes equipment and material logistics, serves as the company contact for contract crews, and handles routine activities like budget reporting and resource scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and accurately.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates the ordering, delivery, and staging of material and equipment for work within the grid.
- Manages and organizes the grid tool room and emergency stock to ensure crews have tools and equipment to perform their work.
- Performs field visits and document safety information while following all safety rules, guidelines and procedures.
- Keep the grids up to date on ground rotations as well as properly dated and tested rubber goods.
- Work with the local facilities management team on proper storage of hazardous material and flammable material along with proper housekeeping at the local grid bases.
- Supports Grid Production Specialist with validation of contractor invoices for traffic control in Ariba.
- Assists with coordinating and facilitating meetings such as All Hands, Patrolman meetings, Forman meetings, etc.
- Develops, monitors, tracks and supports operational compliance activities in the Grid relating to training activities, reporting activities, compliance plan development and related internal and external audit activities.
- Performs as back-up and supports Production Specialist and Supervision with pre-construction coordination activities such as traffic control, heavy equipment or cranes, etc.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in grid construction/material coordination.
- Possesses a valid Class C Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience with planning and/or basic construction
- Experience with project management and operational policies, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with construction related standards, and industry practices.
- Experience with ordering construction tools and materials.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
