Become a Work Management Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will serve as the contributor on implementation teams and single point of contact for NextGen design workshops as well as participate in the development of tools, data readiness efforts and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Initiation, Plan, Schedule, Execution, and Close (IPSEC) principles in Work Management for Transmission & Distribution. In order to help oversee NextGen Work Management Initiation & Planning efforts, this position is expected to be a subject matter expert in all aspects related to the Initiation and Planning processes within the IPSEC model for T&D.

Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide support for key decisions and to secure buy-in for ï¬t-to-standard and custom solutions developed to meet business needs.
- Leads cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of business operations software and systems, ensuring that business requirements are met for assigned business process area.
- Leads implementation workshops and other forums to gather, synthesize, and validate information, ensuring a robust understanding of existing business processes and requirements.
- Conducts thorough evaluations during the implementation phase to identify ineï¬ciencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in current procedures.
- Challenges the status quo, drives transformational change, and recommends practical solutions that align with implementation goals.
- Analyzes and synthesizes data and process ï¬ows, incorporating best practices to support the implementation strategy. Makes informed recommendations or decisions based on this analysis and presents key ï¬ndings to stakeholders.
- Designs and documents future state business processes and requirements that align with the new system capabilities.
- Collaborates with technical team experts to enhance processes, including performing comprehensive user integration testing. Provides functional guidance and supervision to analysts.
- Builds relationships and interacts with peers, managers, system integration (SI) partners, directors, and all levels of leadership to achieve implementation objectives.
- Prepares and delivers executive-level presentations and supports other work activities that align with project milestones.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, ï¬nancial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, conï¬dential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven or more years of business operations and/or transformation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading teams and presenting complex information to medium to large audiences
- Experience and knowledge of T&D Work Management functions in relation to the IPSEC model.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Transmission, Distribution, Generation and/or Sub Station business units.
- Experience in collaboration workshops
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- The primary work location for this position is PIV 2 – Pomona, CA. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
- Position will require up to 35% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position – Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
