Become a Regional Operations Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll oversee electric service distribution, including operations, line construction, and maintenance. Have oversight of crew and public safety by ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Provide District/Region storm support for Resources / Equipment inside and outside the Region/Districts during IMT activations. You will oversee resources designated to facilitate, advise on, and track EH&S Compliance efforts within the Region/Districts.Function as Authorized Edison Representative (AER) for select regional Distribution contractors (e.g., traffic control). Responsibilities
- Leads multiple complex energy delivery projects including research, design, equipment specification and selection, installation, start-up, commissioning and evaluation of work progress and results.
- Manages and drives intra-day schedules and levers in real time to meet service goals and ensure business continuity.
- Leads the implementation of multiple strategic and continuous improvement initiatives, leading all aspects of day-to-day resource coordination to achieve performance goals.
- Manages the processing of new work and the scheduling of work with internal and external stakeholders, tracking performance and conducting ad-hoc analysis in support of the company's goals.
- Oversees and monitors project or program revenues, profitability, and cash management to meet or exceed budgeted and forecasted values, tracking budget utilization to ensure efficient and effective usage. Manages and implements process and system improvements, manages communications, coordinates and delivers trainings for essential business processes, and drives development of new resources and tools.
- Oversees and manages department metrics, owning and updating business processes and documentation. Manages employee performance and establishes performance expectations and goals aligned with company objectives, policies and procedures.
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
- Experience in energy delivery or distribution, preventing electrical service interruptions.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated visible leadership presence, with the ability to influence, model, and reinforce a strong safety‑first culture through employee engagement, coaching, and consistent alignment with the organization’s leadership expectations.
- Experience performing or managing Distribution construction, maintenance, and inspection activities, with strong understanding of field operations, work methods, and crew safety practices.
- Experience developing and executing strategic business plans that drive operational excellence, elevate safety performance, and advance key organizational priorities across multiple teams or geographic areas.
- Experience leading bargaining‑unit employees, including applying collective bargaining agreements, managing labor‑related issues, and fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety‑focused work environment.
Additional Information
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- Position will require up to 60% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position – Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
