Responsibilities

  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Supports the operations teams by analyzing process issues within the organization and providing recommendations and updates.
  • Articulates, documents and organizes project and process documentation.
  • Facilitates IT business and process analysis, metrics and budget tracking and reporting, and daily office operations.
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects.
  • Supports domain and data architecture design, capability roadmap development and strategy development for the domain.
  • Analyzes and reports on operational metrics used in operation reviews.
  • Produces detailed functional requirements and user stories, wireframes, mockup designs, along with non- functional requirements.
  • Participates in solutions development through projects and programs, collaborating with business and technology groups.
  • Generates insights and synthesizes findings into simple concise updates to senior management leveraging data visualization.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in information technology development.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 
  • Three or more years of experience supporting business systems, data analytics, reporting, business operations, or information technology functions.  
  • Experience using reporting, analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar technologies to support business operations and performance reporting.  
  • Experience analyzing business, customer, operational, and system data to develop reports, dashboards, and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.  
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications, translating business needs into system enhancements, reporting solutions, and process improvements.  
  • Experience supporting technology and business initiatives through testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, production support, and performance monitoring.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, evaluate business processes, and leverage data to recommend practical solutions and drive continuous improvement.  
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, technology, program, and data stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions and business outcomes.

 

Additional Information 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
