Become a Leadership Development Programs Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will manage core leadership development programs for high-potential talent, including design, development and execution. You’ll curate and deliver tailored learning experiences for emerging experts and future leaders. You’ll also support mentorship programs across the company. You’ll manage relationships with external high-potential programs, assisting in the process of identifying internal candidates. Additionally, you’ll provide support to other high-potential leadership development programs, including MBA and executive-level talent. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of leaders and experts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, facilitate, and continuously improve leadership development programs, workshops, assessments, and learning experiences that build leadership capabilities across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, administration, and evaluation of leadership development initiatives, ensuring quality execution, stakeholder alignment, budget adherence, and achievement of program objectives.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and Talent Management teams to assess development needs, recommend solutions, and support the identification and selection of program participants.
  • Establish and monitor program metrics, analyze participant and business feedback, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend enhancements to improve outcomes and participant experience.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, coaches, facilitators, and learning partners; oversee program logistics, assessments, resources, and supporting tools.
  • Support design, delivery and execution of other HiPo leadership development programs managed within the TM organization.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience in the design, development, facilitation, and evaluation of leadership development, talent development, learning, or related programs.
  • Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Experience facilitating leadership development programs and working with leaders at multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Leadership development/coaching certifications (e.g., ICF, StrengthsFinder, Hogan, MBTI, etc.)
  • Facilitation skills (e.g., comfort presenting to small and large audiences at all levels)
  • Executive level engagement (e.g., program sponsorship, workshop kick-offs, project support, etc.)
  • Vendor relationship management (e.g., work with vendors and consultants to build curriculum, simulations, etc.)

 

 

Additional Information

 

 

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
