ENGINEERING THE FUTURE.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of the 21st century. Engineers play an essential role in reducing its impacts. At SCE, we believe addressing climate change is about more than just minimizing the risks – it’s about taking the opportunities it presents to develop new, innovative infrastructure systems and solutions. We’re seeking engineering professionals from all backgrounds with that unique combination of technical skill and creativity who want to make a difference.

EMPOWERED TO INNOVATE

Our mission is bold and the stakes are high. Our Transmission and Distribution unit is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities required to safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million Californians across our 50,000-square-mile territory. We also have our Network & Telecom Engineering group of Grid Services. They’re responsible for planning, designing, and implementing SCE’s extensive private network, including transmission, voice, data, video, mobile radio, satellite, and packet radio data networks. With powerful resources and the support of an entire organization behind them, our engineers are redefining what’s possible and transforming the electricity grid.
