Refer Talent is a new tool on our career site that makes it easy for anyone to nominate talent to a specific job or future match.

We are launching the Refer Talent tool to empower everyone to tap into their professional networks and nominate qualified talent to our current and future career opportunities.

Please check our career site for other job opportunities or consider joining the SCE Talent Network to stay informed about new jobs.

You can access the Refer Talent page by visiting our career site and on the top menu clicking on “Refer Talent”, or by directly visiting Refer Talent.
Visit the Refer Talent page, and then create a profile and review and accept the guidelines. Once you create an account, to nominate talent for a specific job, click on the Search Jobs Now button to explore open opportunities. Once you identify a job and review the job posting that your contact may be a match for, you can then refer your contact by clicking on “Refer Talent”. You will then be prompted to complete a form with your referral’s contact information. Once you click on save, they wie sent an email with a link to the opportunity to apply and will be added to our Talent Network. To nominate talent for a future match, you can select the “General Referral button” to submit them as a future match. This will allow us to learn more about them and enable them to learn about future opportunities. You can access the Refer Talent portal to keep track of all of your previous referrals.
No, participation in this program is on a strictly voluntary basis. There will be no bonus for participation at this time unless otherwise indicated on the internal job posting

Yes, but only if the position is also posted on the external job board. If it is for an internal-only position, then you can visit our Careers & Jobs page and share the direct link to the internal job posting with the employee.

No, all applicants will still go through the competitive process that is focused on hiring the most qualified individual for the role. However, by utilizing the tool, you help your referral to easily apply to the job, track it as a referral, keep up to date with SCE news, and be considered for future roles.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide information about the status of your referral. However, you can log into the Refer Talent portal to review if your referral confirmed your recommendation.
An overview of the hiring process is available on the career site on the Hiring Process page, and a candidate can check their status by signing into their job application profile.
Make sure you’ve confirmed your sponsor account. If you are having issues with logging in, ensure you clear your cache and cookies (make sure to select “Hosted Application Data” while clearing cache) and attempt to refresh and log in once more.
